Dear Box Partnerships Hiring Team,
Box sits at a genuinely consequential intersection: the billions of enterprise files that already exist inside organizations, and the AI systems that can finally make that content work. That combination — trusted content infrastructure meeting AI-native workflows — is exactly the kind of platform shift I have spent the last several years building toward, first as a Staff PM scaling Intuit's developer platform to 675M+ annual engagements, and now as a founder building multi-agent AI products from the ground up. When I read Box's mission to bring intelligence to the world of content management, I recognized the same architectural challenge I've been solving: how do you make a platform the default integration layer for an entire ecosystem of builders?
## Technical and AI Foundation
My technical credibility in the AI space is hands-on and current. In 2025–2026, I built an RL post-training workbench that benchmarks 12 reinforcement learning algorithms — PPO, GRPO, DAPO, DPO, SimPO, and others — across four major frameworks (TRL, VeRL, OpenRLHF, NeMo RL) with live SSE metric streaming and GPU Docker passthrough. I built aeval, a local-first model evaluation platform with bootstrap confidence intervals, Welch's t-test, and automated safety gates, running on a FastAPI orchestrator, TimescaleDB, Redis job queue, and Ollama. I designed and shipped OpenClaw, a multi-agent orchestration framework with a gateway protocol, subagent delegation, and profile management, coordinating AI workflows across real estate, insurance, and financial markets industries. These are not survey projects — they are production systems I architected, coded, and shipped.
Before the current AI wave, I spent three years at Intuit as a Staff PM owning developer frameworks and platform infrastructure. I extended Java and Python SDK Starter Kits with scaffolding templates, build configurations, and CI/CD integration. I delivered the ICE Self-Service platform — DevPortal, GitOps config, ICE Playground — reducing developer onboarding from two to three weeks down to minutes in pre-production and under 24 hours for production. I scaled ICE engagements 275% year-over-year to 675M+ in FY23 across QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mint, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma, and drove a throughput migration from 6K to 50K TPS supporting roughly 1.5M concurrent connections. That experience taught me how to think about platform adoption at scale: what makes external developers choose your SDK, stay on your platform, and evangelize it to others.
My research foundation goes back further. My NeurIPS 2014 paper on neural networks for protein secondary structure prediction — and the original hand-coded BPTT system in C++ I built at UC Berkeley in 2004 — give me a longitudinal view of AI development that I find genuinely useful when talking with technical founders about where the field has been and where it is going.
## Why This Role
The arc from building developer platforms at Intuit to founding AI companies that integrate with external APIs, content sources, and agent frameworks maps directly onto what Box needs in this partnerships role. I have been on both sides of the integration conversation — as the platform team trying to drive adoption, and as the external builder deciding which APIs to build on. That dual perspective is rare, and it is exactly what Box needs to recruit and retain AI-native companies as long-term platform partners.
What excites me most about this specific role is the mandate to operate at the intersection of partnerships, product thinking, and technical solutioning. Box's platform — content lifecycle management, enterprise AI, workflow transformation — is precisely the kind of infrastructure that AI startups need but often don't know how to integrate correctly. The opportunity to serve as a technically credible bridge between Box's product and engineering teams and external AI founders, shaping how the next generation of AI-native companies builds on Box, is a role I am built for.
## Selected Relevant Experience
- **Developer Platform Adoption at Scale (Intuit):** Delivered ICE Self-Service platform reducing onboarding from 2–3 weeks to minutes; achieved 275% YoY growth in ICE engagements, scaling to 675M+ in FY23 across five major product lines.
- **SDK and Developer Tooling (Intuit):** Extended Java and Python SDK Starter Kits with scaffolding templates, build configurations (Gradle/Maven), testing frameworks, and CI/CD integration — enabling developers to reach production-ready microservices in minutes.
- **Multi-Agent Orchestration (StreamIO AI):** Implemented OpenClaw multi-agent orchestration framework with gateway protocol, subagent delegation, and session management, coordinating AI agent workflows across multiple industry verticals.
- **RAG and LLM Integration (Fintellect AI):** Architected a RAG retrieval pipeline (ChromaDB) with multi-provider LLM orchestration (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini), fallback routing, structured-output validation, and token-budget optimization across 13 specialized AI advisors.
- **AI Evaluation Infrastructure (aeval):** Built a local-first model evaluation platform with adversarial safety testing, data contamination detection, and CI/CD regression gates — the kind of rigorous evaluation tooling that enterprise AI partners require.
- **Cross-Functional Platform Leadership (Splunk):** Owned Search Service (Go microservices), Search Catalog (PostgreSQL), and SPL/SPL2 roadmap for Splunk Cloud Services; delivered Scheduler Service end-to-end in ~4 months; presented at Splunk .conf18 and .conf19.

- **0-to-1 AI Product Leadership (Streamio AI / Fintellect AI):** Led full product strategy, AI development, and go-to-market execution for two AI platforms from prototype to App Store approval, including customer discovery, influencer partnerships, and iterative product refinement.
## Closing
Box's mission — bringing intelligence to the world of content management — is not a feature roadmap item; it is a fundamental reorientation of how enterprises interact with the information they already own. The AI-native companies being built right now will need a trusted, enterprise-grade content platform as their foundation. I want to be the person who ensures they find Box first, integrate with Box correctly, and grow with Box as a strategic partner. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background in developer platforms, AI systems, and founder-to-founder ecosystem relationships can accelerate that mission.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
**O. Felix Amoruwa**
